The Ambacht in Beeld Festival 2025 focused on restoration. During six free lectures, the public was introduced to restoration crafts. The lectures can be viewed on our YouTube channel:
Lecture by Sophie Prieto on the reproductions in the casting studio in Paris, where the world’s largest works of art are recreated using 6,000 molds.
Director Ellen Snoep explains the restoration of the five-century-old paintings on the barrel vault. She shares the history, significance, and challenges of this special project.
