At reCharkha we upcycle waste plastic such a polybags/plastic bags, biscuit or wafer wrappers and other multilayered packaging, using a traditional charkha (spindle) and handloom to weave it into a fabric. This unique process is designed to provide livelihood opportunities for our tribal women and youth. This upcycled-handwoven fabric is then used to make handcrafted utility items such as bags and fashion accessories, home decor and office stationary products. We customize products for corporate and personal gifting too. We have presented some of our products on our website.

At the festival we shall demonstrate the craft, exhibit a selection of our products, and are happy to inform you about our social enterprise.
